By installing or using the PushDuel app, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please delete the app and do not use it.
PushDuel is a home workout app. It uses your phone camera to automatically count push-ups, squats and bicep curls, keeps a workout history, shows your progress, offers a 30-day programme and places you on a shared leaderboard alongside other players.
In the Arena, you can fight a live player when another player is looking for a fight at that moment. When no live opponent is available, the fight is against a practice opponent controlled by the app itself, and it is labelled as such on screen.
An internet connection is required to use PushDuel and its online features.
The app is intended for people aged 18 and over. The first run does not accept an age below 18.
If you are under 18, please do not use PushDuel.
PushDuel is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The app is not a substitute for a doctor, a coach or a physiotherapist.
Consult a doctor before starting any exercise programme, especially if you have heart conditions, high blood pressure, injuries to your back, shoulders, elbows or wrists, if you are pregnant, have recently had surgery, or have not exercised for a long time.
Stop exercising immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, nausea, shortness of breath or chest discomfort, and seek medical attention.
You exercise at your own risk. You are responsible for the safety of your training space: make sure there is enough room, place the phone somewhere stable, and keep anything you could hit away from your workout area. Do not place the phone where it could fall on you.
Daily goals, the 30-day programme and any numbers in the app are guidance, not medical prescriptions. Do not chase figures at the expense of your form or how you feel.
Repetition counting is performed by a computer vision algorithm and is approximate. Lighting, camera position, clothing, background and your body proportions can affect the result. The app may miss a repetition or count an extra one.
We do not guarantee counting accuracy and do not recommend using these numbers for medical, competitive qualification or other consequential purposes.
Signing in with Google is optional. If you do sign in, you are responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure.
When choosing a name, do not use other people's names, insults, advertising or information identifying other people. Your chosen name may be visible to other users on the leaderboard and in relevant online features.
You may not artificially inflate your results, including by imitating movement in front of the camera without actually performing the exercise, using video recordings, images, mannequins or emulator software, altering app data, interfering with network traffic, or using modified versions of the app.
We may delete results, remove an account from the leaderboard, or block access to the app if we detect manipulation or other violations of these terms.
Coins are a virtual in-app currency. They cannot be bought with money, exchanged for money, withdrawn, transferred to another user, or refunded. They have no monetary value and are not your property.
Coins may be awarded for finished workouts, Arena results, completing the daily goal, and voluntarily watching rewarded ads. We may change award amounts and shop prices.
Coins and anything bought with them may be lost if the app is uninstalled, local data is reset, or the service is discontinued. No compensation is provided in that case.
The app is free and contains advertising. Rewarded ads only start when you choose to start them.
We do not control the content of third-party advertising and are not responsible for advertisers' goods or services.
The PushDuel name, interface, graphics, characters, icons, sounds and source code belong to the developer and are protected by law.
You may not copy, distribute, decompile the app, reverse engineer it where prohibited by applicable law, or create derivative products from it without written permission.
You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Your name and profile photo remain yours. By uploading or selecting a profile photo, you confirm that you have the necessary rights or permission to use it.
If you select a profile photo from your device gallery while using PushDuel, the selected photo may be uploaded to your PushDuel account when you are signed in with Google. The photo is stored with your account so it can be restored and may be displayed next to your name to other PushDuel users on the public leaderboard and in relevant online features.
If you do not select a profile photo, PushDuel may use your initial instead.
Your Google profile picture may also be provided through Google sign-in and used for account-related features.
We aim to keep the app running reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
PushDuel requires an internet connection. Online features depend on third-party services, including Google services, and on the availability and quality of your internet connection.
We may change, suspend or discontinue any feature, including the leaderboard, friends features and Arena.
The app is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties relating to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of data, availability, or uninterrupted operation, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for injury, deterioration of health, property damage, data loss, lost profit, or any other direct or indirect damage connected with use of the app.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
You may also delete your PushDuel account through the account deletion function provided in the app.
We may restrict or terminate your access if you breach these terms or if necessary to protect the service, other users, or the security of the app.
These terms are governed by the law of Kyrgyzstan, unless mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence provide otherwise.
We may update these terms when features, services, or legal requirements change.
The date of the latest update is shown at the top. Material changes may also be communicated inside the app.
By continuing to use PushDuel after the updated terms become effective, you agree to the updated version to the extent permitted by applicable law.
